1955-1957 Powerglide transmissions have a very common issue with leaking transmission fluid from the filler tube. There are several reasons this can happen, but one of the easy fixes without taking your transmission completely apart would be to add an extra vent hose to the extension housing.

This kit will include the parts needed to add a second vent, along with directions.
